Bronze mix tape sculpture by Nancy Pearce
Ever needed to honour your love of the humble mixtape forever? Well, here ya go! Give it to someone special as an anniversary or birthday gift, or keep it all for yourself...
Nancy Pearce is a Californian artist who casts contemporary artefacts in bronze
Starting on her bronze casting journey seven years ago as a way of exploring the lives of people who support famous artists, such as "Henry David’s Thoreau’s mother who cooked and did laundry at her house nearby while Thoreau wrote Walden." Nancys practice grew to encompass "an archive of everyday objects by casting them in durable solid bronze so that future archaeologists will have a few pieces of the puzzle to decode from my limited time on earth starting in the 1970s."
When everything else feels so fleeting, your bronze artefacts will remain.

Solid Bronze
Solid Bronze Care: Handle with care and polish with a soft microfibre cloth. Harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners will impact the lustre of solid bronze. Finger prints, oils and water will create a patina over time unless buffed off with a microfibre cloth, a bronze specific metal polish such as Simichrome Polish can also be used to bring back the high shine.
