Each candle holder requires a 21mm candle to hold tightly. This is a standard size, but as the candle holder allows the candle to protrude over the edge, it is advisable not to place smaller diameter candles into the holders. larger sizes can be whittled down to fit. Candles are not included.

Rekha (pro-nounced Ray-Car) Barry is a Glasgow based architect who brings her considerable design skills to her Rekha Maker candle holders. Referencing buildings, her especially commissioned candleholders were awarded as trophies at the 2020 Scottish Music Industry Association (SAY) Awards. 

With sustainability in mind, Barry casts Jesmonite into elegant and refined shapes. Gypsum, the main material in Jesmonite, is one of the world’s most abundant natural resources and is perfect as a low impact material.

Each Rekha Maker candle holder is handmade and may include irregularities such as bubbles or patterns different from the picture. This is the nature of handmade goods vs. machine made and is not considered a flaw.
