Utilising sunray pleats, the Capri is specifically designed to collapse and fold like origami for ease of travel, featuring a mid-length brim, it is carefully handcrafted from 100% Natural Organic Grass Fibres. Optional ties are provided at the base of each hat to be used for anchoring during breezes. 

A perfect essential hat for those wanting an everyday sun-safe yet stylish addition to their attire, as a luxe fashion statement.

Lorna Murray is an ethical and sustainable Australian brand created by Lorna Murray, a Sydney-based fashion designer, textile artist and university lecturer.

The brands ethos is to care for people and the planet, by celebrating craft-based traditions in fashion and empowering and supporting the artisans who make our products without compromising the natural environment.

"We consider ethics and sustainability in every aspect of the design process through to our customers.
We are committed to continually reevaluating and improving our practices to reduce our negative impact on the environment, our artisans, employees and our supply chain.  

We employ a number of artisans in our Indonesian-based studio who are paid above the living wage and with stable ongoing employment. They are given regular holidays and time off to spend with their families.

We know our artisans and employees each personally, by name, and communicate frequently with them about their wants and needs, to always ensure that they feel comfortable, safe, heard and above all, valued. We aim to continuously provide our artisans with ongoing and secure economic opportunities and support through healthcare and welfare.

They work in excellent working conditions at our studio with health and safety at the forefront. We care not only for our artisans that work with us but for their children and families too, by providing and paying for additional healthcare and welfare resources when required.

Our hats and accessories are made of 100% natural fibres, grown organically without the use of pesticides. As a result, they are very breathable, making them comfortable to wear on hot days and do not irritate the skin." LM
