Know Your Maker
Takenobu Igarashi ~ Japanese Sculptor and designer.
Igarashi is a Japanese product designer whose works include the MoMA calendar and three-dimensional alphabet, VI designs for Suntory Hall and Calpis, and products for OUN and YMD, using the axonometric (perspective) method.
In 1994, he became a sculptor. He has created many works as public art in various materials such as wood, stone, metal, terra cotta, and stained glass.
Currently, professor emeritus at Tama Art University. Our Takenobu Igarashi kitchen tools are manufactured to strict standards in Japan.
