Use & Care
Wash and dry after using with a gentle cloth
Do not use cleaning products that might scratch the enamel surface.
Noda Horo Enamel ware is made by fusing glass to steel under very high heat, it does not pick up flavours from cooking but may need to be handled with care in a busy kitchen. If the kettle is dropped or bumped the enamel outer surface may crack and its core steel might be revealed. Keep the cracked part dry to prevent rusting.
As the enamel glaze is applied whilst liquid there may be the inclusion of tiny pin head size spots, dimples or tiny bumps on the glaze, these are a sign of the enamelling process and not considered a fault.
Never heat the kettle without water inside this may lead to enamel damage. Always use the Amu kettle on a domestic cooktop, take the kettle off the heat when it boils to not damage the enamel from excessive heat. Do not use on an open fire, use excessive heat or leave on high heat for a sustained amount of time - to do so may damage the enamel outer and handle.
