Semi-D Striped Grinder - Blue

The Semi-D Grinder can be used for salt or pepper to spice up your meals and your benchtop. A solid cylindrical grinder finished with alternating bands of blue. The form is straightforward and balanced, designed for regular use. Created by the founder of the cult NYC deli Dimes, home to the worlds best culinary products.

Each unique vessel pulls apart to enable salt crystals or peppercorns to be added, and the grind size can be adjusted. Simply screw off the top colour segment and lift off the next colour segment to reveal the spice chamber for refilling. The Semi-D grinder has a ceramic internal grinding mechanism to resist corrosion. The grey wheel at the base adjusts the coarseness of your grind. Turn it clockwise for a fine setting. Turn it anti-clockwise for a coarser setting.

Please note: Semi-D grinders are painted by hand and may display small signs of paint inconsistency - this is not considered a fault, but a sign of a human made process.

Semi-D is a project by Sabrina De Sousa, co-founder of Dimes in downtown NYC. Semi-D is an abbreviation of the architectural term “semi-detached”, Dimes backwards, and a new outlet for exploring various mediums beyond food.
