Naturally strong and smooth, walnut is a pleasure to use. With a high heat tolerance, it will not melt against the side of the pan and will not cause seizing that is possible with cold metal utensils. The handle is smooth with rounded edges, with a generous tapered spoon head.

Handmade by a husband and wife team in in California, USA, these finely crafted kitchen tools are preserving a traditional family legacy.

Walnut is considered one of the strongest and most durable of the hardwood family. Each piece is unique and chosen to reveal the beauty seen in the colour and grain of the wood.  Each item has a different appearance, due to the nature of the wood, no two are alike. The item you purchase may very slightly from the image due to the hand crafted nature. Unlike tropical teak, no rainforest is destroyed in the making of these utensils.

CARE: Hand wash only in warm water with a mild detergent, do not leave them in water. Not suitable for oven, microwave or dishwasher. Oil your wood utensils 2-3 times per year using vegetable or mineral oil and they will stay beautiful for years to come.
